Are you ready for some good news?

RiverQuest is working with key Pittsburgh region foundations to keep our mission to serve schools flourishing - even during tough economic times.

Many schools have told us that they are limited, now more than ever, in their ability to invest time and funds into quality field experiences. Whether your access to activity buses or substitue teachers has been reduced, the goal of this effort is to keep the educational opportunities flowing for the coming school year.

Through the kind assistance of local and regional foundations, RiverQuest is able to offer its world-class standards-based 4.5-hour education programs for pupils in grades 4-12, at a special reduced fee for the 2011-12 school year: $10 per student.

Even if your district won't be substantially impacted by the state budget cuts, now is a great time to introduce your students to the RiverQuest experience: hands-on, student-centered and PA Academic Standards-based explorations of the world around us. Programs include Environmental Science on the Three Rivers for grades 4-12, and the new Environment, Energy & Economy for grades 6-12. Check out the links below for more information.

• This is a limited time offer. Available dates are limited based on prior reservations.

• Additional scholarship funds may be available to further reduce your total fee by the

cost of your fieldtrip bus and/or substitute teacher expense. Certain conditions apply.

* As always, RiverQuest reserves the right to conduct a full or partial program on the

boat at dock when unforeseen mechanical, weather, or river conditions require it.

* RiverQuest is unable to make per-student refunds based on individual student

nonattendance of a reserved program.
