RiverQuest teacher previews earn participants three Act 48 hours, as they learn about  RiverQuest course concepts, teaching methods, and green-boat designing processes. Teacher Happy Hours are not "just" for teachers: principals, administrators, PTA/PTO representatives are welcome! Teacher Open House events are scheduled on the third Tuesday evening of each month , include light refreshments (and non-alcoholic beverages!) and are exclusively for adults.  Please note that the boat stays at dock during this free educator program.  To register, call RiverQuest at 412-231-2712, or use the "View All Events" link below to register online. RiverQuest Welcomes Explorer to Pittsburgh

Long-awaited green education boat arrives at North Shore Dock

Explorer, RiverQuest’s newly constructed 90-foot, 150-passenger hybrid boat left Bayou La Batre, Alabama on Sunday, August 3rd and arrived at the Pittsburgh Pool of the Ohio River at 10am on Wednesday August 13, 2008 after a 1,600 mile journey through nine states.

Explorer's fiberoptic deck lights glow in the night.
